Below is the first page of the Petition for Appointment of Limited Guardian of Minor filed by Ronald Lee Mayes, the father of Amanda E. Mayes. On page 3 he writes: "The reason I want a limited guardianship is: my daughter has issues of resentment and anger toward me and is dealing with them in an unhealthy manner. The source of this is her mother's death in 1985 and my subsequent remarriage." Amanda Mayes didn't just recently turn into a hateful person. She has been like this for a long time. Her father said so years ago. And he should know.
