Jamie Foxx Puts Nick Lachey On Blast
I started this blog entry last weekend but didn't have time to finish it. (That means the story is a bit dated.) Here goes nothing.
Our homeboy Nick Lachey (whose little brother Drew Lachey can dance his ass off) got put on full blast by Jamie Foxx recently because he dared to seek a little spousal support from his soon-to-be ex-wife Jessica Simpson.
The National Ledger's Karen Diaz wasn't the fist to report this, but her story will do.
Nick Lachey was ripped a bit by actor Jamie Foxx in an interview broadcast on Monday night on his decision to seek cash from his wife and big money earner Jessica Simpson.
In a predictable and accurate reaction, Foxx said that Lachey was copping out and exclaimed that Jessica needed "a real man."
"A real man don't do those kind of things," Foxx bluntly stated to ET. "I don't really agree with that because I think it's a cop-out. You got to get up and do your own thing."
Foxx then offered his services to Jess, saying "Jessica if you're looking holler at a real man."
Ouch.

But that's accurate. Lachey will likely face a bit of heat if he follows through and tries to milk his wife for support.
Not many men that are in the public eye would seek cash, jewelry and monthly stipends from their hard-working ex-wives.
Many men (and women) will see that just as Foxx does. Expect more whispers challenging Lachey's manhood. (source)
If the shoe was on the other foot, would anybody question Jessica's attempt to get spousal support from Nick? I doubt it.
Here's the dilemna for Black Cincinnatians. Nick is a local boy, but Jamie is our brother. Which side do you come down on? And men, do you think Nick is a wimp for asking Jessica for support?

Hell NO! Joe Simpson is an clown. When they were getting married, Joe told Jessica under no circumstances was she to sign a prenup b/c at that time Nick was the one with the higher earnings. Guess that backfired.
Word is that Nick is just using the spousal support to make sure Joe doesn't try to screw him over in the divorce settlement. But even if he does want it, he probably deserves it b/c neither of them would have much of their millions without the other.
Bearman is right, Lachey wanted a prenup and Simpson said no. She didn't have anything before they got married and he had been much more succesful than she had. He loved her and married her anyway.
They blew up together and he's as responsible for her success as anyone.
Jamie just wants to hit that fine ass. I can't say I blame him, who doesn't.
They reside in a community property state--he's entitled to half. Before they had that dimwit reality show, he was riding high and she was a nobody. It was a toss of the dice. Foxx keeps his money safe by not marrying the mother of his kids so he doesn't have to worry. With commitment comes consequences. Foxx also made it clear that he thinks HE's the man for Jessica. Was all that stuff about loving his black sister on that overdone special just a front? Who's the real man?

Old man Glen. O. has been for the past week talking peace with the General. Hopefully, after his conversations with him, along with myself and several others, all this can just end!
You brothers may not like each other, or some things that the other has said, but the white man has gained victory! He has decentralized the very core of the movement we have in this city. Now that you brothers have pretty much disseminated, or more less become fragmented, where is the activist base? I enjoyed seeing you brothers come to council and say what city employees cant or are too scared to say. You all have been very concerned with the pragmatics that have influenced the very atrocious activities within this "atrocity."

The General said he will just leave it. He has no more to say and he was going to continue to talk to his lady about doing the same. I think we all Know JOY ROLLAND is at that core of all of this. It was her mouth that got him where he was. He claimed he just wanted to expose what had happen to him. I told him, put it in your "life experiences" box. I talked to him a while, said he was through with it all, & he doesnt even talk about you at all anymore, even that you went to the Prosecutor on him ? and tried to get him locked back up and his bond raised, and he found out yesterday you did or said something ? to his sister, turned something all around, (didnt say what) when you knew she wouldnt "hurt a fly." She's only 5 ft and 90lbs. She was very shaken and is even out of school. (I didnt even know he had a sister.)
He, admittingly said he was sick and tired of it all, and no offense, the brother looks tired. I did again kindly mention to him before we parted, to do a better job with his lady, her mouth is just outlandish.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Judge people on the content of their character and you'll find you have more power than you know.
I could care less about Nick being a home guy. I could also care less about Jamie coming out and blasting Nick. I am wondering too where his love of the Black woman is when he playfully puts a feeler out for Simpson, one of the whitest looking, sounding, and acting women in Hollyweird. When you get married and try to maintain a household with your wife, then you have a right to comment on what a man should get out of a divorce settlement. Jamie commenting on what Nick should do sounds like a person with no kids commenting on what kind of discipline a parent should administer.
Wake up fellas, Foxx only fronts for the sistas for the PR, but chases White tail like a crack fiend off-camera. Did anyone really not know this? Every movie of his a sista pays to see...is paying for more coke to bait more trophy White puzzy with, lol!
Anyhow, a REAL MAN stands up for his LAWFUL RIGHTS and claims his FAIR SHARE. PROPS to Nick trying to get what's LAWFULLY HIS. Grow some balls, Foxx.
